The anteroom to the restaurant is an event in its own right, perfect for a fine cocktail, a light meal, or even a full dinner looking on to St James’s Street.

Appointed with beautiful, comfortable sofa seating, a statement bar area, and intimate booths, the Pukka Bar is the jewel in Chutney Mary’s crown. Cocktails are thoughtfully inspired by Indian botanicals, citrus, and aromatics, and change seasonally, with the likes of a heady saffron martini and a bracing gimlet made with Bengali lime popular classics.

While guests can enjoy the restaurant’s full menu in the Pukka bar, it also makes the perfect venue for drinks and snacks, with richly spiced venison rolls, a stunning papad basket, and an elaborate tokri chaat just some of the dishes on offer.
